Many of us worked in factories during the 1970s, and our imaginary scene shows male workers making the last few adjustments before the cars come rolling off the production line.  Good news - the Quality Control Inspector appears to be happy with the finished product!  The wonderfully nostalgic scene has many echoes of the past – everyone is very hands on, there’s not a computer in sight and the “No smoking” signs certainly remind us of days gone by.  The Allegro may not have been an especially popular car, but we hope you’ll enjoy this puzzle and all the memories it rekindles.

Illustrated by Yorkshire based artist Trevor Mitchell. Trevor works primarily in oils, and is well known for his authentic and nostalgic scenes. Trevor carries out lots of research prior to creating a new painting, referring to old books; newspapers and photographs to ensure his images are as authentic as possible. Trevor's work can be found on fine art prints, greetings cards and jigsaw puzzles. He lives in Shipley, West Yorkshire.

Ravensburger have over 50 years’ worth of experience in the manufacture of puzzles. Not only do they make the best selection of puzzles, they also pride themselves on having the highest quality. Individual pieces are stamped with such precision that a quiet "click" can be heard when one piece is inserted in the other - this phenomenon is so unique that we have given it its own name ‘soft click technology.’ Ravensburger puzzles are made using unique punching templates and punching tools, which are hand-crafted with watchmaker precision to ensure the greatest possible accuracy and variety of the puzzle pieces.
