Life On The Allotment by Janice Daughters 1000 Piece Puzzle By Gibsons
The local village allotment has produced a bumper crop this year! Bursting with juicy berries, fresh vegetables and fragrant herbs, the gardeners’ hard work has most certainly paid off.
This 1000 piece puzzle has been painted by the talented artist Janice Daughters.
Janice Daughters trained in graphic design at North Hertfordshire College of Art and Design, going on to work in London in an advertising studio specialising in pen and ink illustration and corporate logo design. After moving to Wensleydale in North Yorkshire, she became a freelance artist and designer and she now designs and publishes greetings cards using a variety of techniques such as watercolour, acrylic, pen & ink and digital art. Her interests and subject matter are varied, including animals, floral, landscapes and a love of vintage memorabilia.
Puzzle dimensions: 68x48.5cm
From Gibsons:
As with all Gibsons jigsaws, we use 100% recycled puzzle board, FSC paper and work with the best artists from all around the world. The beautifully illustrated pieces are designed to fit perfectly together; in fact, we use the thickest puzzle board on the market.
We have made some positive changes to our processes, so you can be sure you’re getting the same great puzzles and know that they are kinder to the environment. Not only does the box have a fresh new look, but we’ve used biodegradable clear labels to secure the lid instead of shrink wrap to reduce our plastic waste.
There is a gloss coating on the box for extra protection and the puzzle pieces are stored in a plastic bag that can be recycled by most councils. Because the box is slightly smaller than our previous designs, we need less room to transport our products which reduces our carbon footprint and means you can store your puzzles more easily. We have also popped an artwork poster inside for you to reference whilst you piece together your lovely jigsaw puzzle.
Puzzle size is 49x68cm when complete.
