No 6 in this series showing wonderful havens, sanctuaries and retreats
As the dark nights roll in and the temperature drops, cosy comforts become ever more important.  Inspired by the Danish art of “hygge” (the Danish word for cosy), the owner of this wonderful shed has created their own warm and relaxing haven.  A comfy sofa, richly-textured throws and floor coverings,  interesting pastimes (books, puzzles, games, scrapbooks and an ever-growing family tree) are lit by atmospheric lighting.  Warmed by a log burner, the owner and her pets enjoy the cosy delights of a chilly afternoon.  Tea, cake, good company and a great book.  Who could ask for more?

Steve Read is a self-taught artist who started work as a mural designer but has since developed a very broad portfolio ranging from beautiful fairytale and fantasy landscapes to wildlife and underwater scenes. High quality 1000 piece cardboard jigsaw puzzle. The finished puzzle measures 70 x 50cm when complete. Suitable for ages 12 years and up. Made from strong premium grade cardboard, with linen finish print to minimise glare on puzzle image.

Ravensburger have over 50 years’ worth of experience in the manufacture of puzzles. Not only do they make the best selection of puzzles, they also pride themselves on having the highest quality. Individual pieces are stamped with such precision that a quiet "click" can be heard when one piece is inserted in the other - this phenomenon is so unique that we have given it its own name ‘soft click technology.’ Ravensburger puzzles are made using unique punching templates and punching tools, which are hand-crafted with watchmaker precision to ensure the greatest possible accuracy and variety of the puzzle pieces.
