Unmatched – Houdini vs. The Genie

Unmatched is a fast-paced game of tactial combat between unlikely opponents. Developed as a collaboration between Restoration Games and Mondo Games, it features fighters of all kinds- Medusa, King Arthur, Houdini, Dracula, Sherlock Holmes, Bigfoot and T-Rex to name a few. Each hero has a unique deck of cards that fits their fighting style. Pick your favourite hero, choose a map, and use your hero's unique deck and abilities to win the day!

There are lots of unmatched sets available and one of the unique things about the Unmatched series is that you can mix and match heroes and maps from ANY Unmatched set. Meaning no two games will be the same. Just when you've mastered one set, bring in new heroes from other sets to provide all new match-ups...

Unmatched: Houdini vs. The Genie adds two new heroes: Harry Houdini and The Genie of the Lamp

Combat is resolved quickly by comparing attack and defense cards. However, each card's unique effects and a simple but deep timing system lead to interesting decisions each time. The game also features an updated version of the line-of-sight system from Tannhauser for ranged attacks and area effects.
