About the artist: Janice Daughters trained in graphic design at North Hertfordshire College of Art and Design, going on to work in London in an advertising studio specialising in pen and ink illustration and corporate logo design. After moving to Wensleydale in North Yorkshire, she became a freelance artist and designer and she now designs and publishes greetings cards using a variety of techniques such as watercolour, acrylic, pen & ink and digital art. Her interests and subject matter are varied, including animals, floral, landscapes and a love of vintage memorabilia.
