Finely sculpted, with intricate details and printings, these trains will stand out on your favourite Ticket to Ride map, transporting you even further in the amazing world of early 1900s train travel.
There will be 5 sets available, each lovingly crafted and with its own unique features. You can find out more below:
The Yellow Crane Train
The Yellow Crane Train was the second design choice after the white Milk Tanker cars, after the #1 Deluxe Train Set, which served as a proof of concept for this series. This design features a train car with a distinctive shape and a thin crane. Ideally, the crane would be movable, but due to the tiny scale, we opted for a stationary yet intricately detailed model.
The Red Passenger Car
A nostalgic homage to old U.S. trains, the Red Passenger Car is inspired by a toy train set from the 1980s, a cherished childhood memory of our designer. We’ve also included a small Easter egg referencing one of our favourite movies in this set, adding an extra layer of delight for fans.
The Green Caboose
The Green Caboose represents a more modern era, just before caboose cars became obsolete. We chose a lighter, aqua green colour to offer a refreshing change from the traditional green hues, highlighting the evolution of train designs.
The Black Flatcar with Semi-Trailer Truck
Inspired by the design featuring two little blue automobiles in the Ticket to Ride Europe 15th Anniversary edition, this flatcar carries an old semi-trailer truck. This model includes a charming tribute to the game’s author with the name of the moving company displayed on the truck.
The Blue Passenger Car
Evoking the luxury travel of Europe at the turn of the 20th century, the Blue Passenger Car brings to mind the opulent train cars equipped with full bedrooms, dining cars, and salons, often depicted in classic films. With this set, you can recreate your own Trans Europa Express.
