Get ready for a nostalgic adventure with Filling Up for the Trip, a 636 piece puzzle by Trevor Mitchell. Before any family holiday, there’s one essential stop: the petrol station! Here, the family are eagerly filling up, preparing for the journey ahead. The kids can barely contain their excitement, even the family dog is hanging out the window! Where are they headed? The beach, the countryside, or maybe a visit to grandma's? This puzzle is taken from Day out with the Family, previously known as Day Trip to Arundel. Filling Up for the Trip is part of our 636 collection – panoramic jigsaw puzzles which provide stunning visuals at a lower piece count. They are the same width as our 1000-piece puzzles, but with a smaller height. This 636 piece jigsaw puzzle was painted by the talented artist Trevor Mitchell.
As with all Gibsons jigsaws, we use 100% recycled puzzle board, FSC paper and work with the best artists from all around the world. The beautifully illustrated pieces are designed to fit perfectly together; in fact, we use the thickest puzzle board on the market.
We have made some positive changes to our processes, so you can be sure you’re getting the same great puzzles and know that they are kinder to the environment. Not only does the box have a fresh new look, but we’ve used biodegradable clear labels to secure the lid instead of shrink wrap to reduce our plastic waste.
There is a gloss coating on the box for extra protection and the puzzle pieces are stored in a plastic bag that can be recycled by most councils. Because the box is slightly smaller than our previous designs, we need less room to transport our products which reduces our carbon footprint and means you can store your puzzles more easily. We have also popped an artwork poster inside for you to reference whilst you piece together your lovely jigsaw puzzle.
